Ensure you thoroughly rinse your sponge with warm water after each use and allow it to dry naturally. Store it in a dry, well-ventilated area, avoiding airtight containers. Every few weeks, disinfect your sea sponge by soaking it in a solution of white vinegar and water for a few hours. Afterwards, rinse it thoroughly to remove any vinegar residue before letting it air dry.
